Shop Pay with Prime & other Shopify August Updates
Hey there 👋
Shopify is a user-friendly eCommerce platform that helps small businesses build an online store and sell online through one streamlined dashboard. Shopify sellers can create a cutting-edge online store and sell using email, SMS, chat, seller marketplaces, other blogs, and websites. With its integrated point-of-sale (POS) for retail storefronts, pop-up shops, market sales, and more, Shopify makes it simple to do in-person transactions as well. We advise you to try Shopify+ also.
Soon, working with Shopify will be even easier and more productive, because the company is preparing updates. Here are some of them:
1
Shopify merchants can soon choose to offer Buy with Prime directly within their Shopify Checkout. The US-based merchants that use Amazon's fulfillment network will have the opportunity to incorporate Buy with Prime into their Shopify Checkout handled by Shopify Payments when Amazon releases an app in the Shopify app ecosystem. For the first time, Shopify merchants will have the option to make their products available to Prime members on the platform while continuing to retain complete control over their brand and customer information.
Shopify merchants that also use Amazon's fulfillment network will soon have the ability to immediately integrate the Shopify Payments-processed Buy with Prime app from the app ecosystem into Shopify Checkout.

Shopify is developing a customer service solution for business sellers. With new digital options, the corporation has been trying to draw in larger merchants. The Support department at Shopify has undergone several modifications. Although Shopify has always specialized in supporting small and medium enterprises, the Canadian company has this year given more priority to enterprise eCommerce. It introduced Commerce Components in January, a product that enables retailers to incorporate specific features of Shopify's software, such as checkout and inventory management, into their current IT infrastructure.
Shopify announced in June that enterprise merchants who do not use Shopify would be able to use Shop Pay's one-click checkout system through Commerce Components. Gartner's Magic Quadrant, a research study for larger eCommerce companies, has recognized Shopify's efforts to draw enterprise merchants through Plus and Commerce Components. According to the report's evaluation of Shopify Plus in 2023, the platform outperformed its competitors in terms of execution.
Sales growth from Plus merchants had outperformed that of normal merchants, according to business president Harley Finkelstein, who also noted that the Plus merchant base had experienced "strong" year-over-year growth during the company's second-quarter earnings call on August 2.

Instacart launched a Shopify app to enable emerging consumer packaged goods brands on Shopify to access Instacart Ads. Merchants can now connect to InstaCart Ads products, tools, insights, and automation from directly within the Shopify dashboard.
4
Shop Circle, an eCommerce platform that aims to create an operating system for eCommerce brands with AI-driven tools and processes, raised $120M in a Series A round led by 645 Ventures and 3VC. The funds will be used to continue building and expanding the company's suite of eCommerce tools including its data-driven tech stack consultation program.

"The Wide Event" at Le Grand Rex in Paris by Wide and Mat De Sousa on September 16, was a real blast for Shopify Merchants and Partners. With a turnout of 150 brilliant minds, it offered a unique blend of learning, networking, and enjoyment. We had some top-notch speakers spill the beans on how they rocked their Shopify businesses, and big shoutout to sponsors like Gadget.dev, Zapiet, and Mantle for making it happen. Trust us, if you missed this, you'll regret it – "The Wide Event" was one for the books in the world of Shopify events!
Shopify is virtually unmatched in the world of eСommerce platforms for ease of use and seamless connections to sales channels. The restricted store customization, basic SEO capabilities, and simplistic blogging services are among Shopify's few limitations; nevertheless, these are outweighed by the platform's wide range of selling options and essential business management tools. There is simply no platform that compares to Shopify in terms of ease, sales reach, growth potential, and cost for both startups and established businesses.
Thanks for reading! What do you think these recent updates and partnerships signify for the future of e-commerce, and how might they shape the way we shop and do business online?
